VI COMMANDO

2/Lt. Douglas Hugh Constable , formerly of the Border Regiment, served with 5^th Special Services Battalion (later known as No.6 Commando) from 28^th December 1940.

Later promoted to Lieutenant, Lt. D.H. Constable served as the Signals Officer with No.6 Commando from at least 5^th June 1941 until, at least, 14^th February 1942.

He was commissioned on 1st October 1938.
